Born and raised in a small town Temirtau, in the North of Kazakhstan.

In that small town, as a Child, spending most of my time in a small atelier owned by my Grandmother. While being around her every time when she was drawing, making another piece, or simply seeing her how she was threading a needle inspired me to choose the path of Fashion Designer.

During the last three years in a school of fashion design, I discovered how the field of design is vibrant and profound. Also discovered and developed new skills of mine. Eventually, I understood that I fell in love with fashion and it became more than just hobby, and yet to learn more...

My hobby become more than hobby.

It is a passion ...

My collection is inspired by my country history: Kazakhstan nearly a millennium in the Golden Horde when Mongols used to worship Sun.

Once upon a time, Sezim was walking through the vast autumnal wheat fields listening to the blowing wind nearby. Kazakhs horses were stomping and hoofing. Men standing by a yurt were quietly murmuring with each other.

Lying down Sezim could contemplate the broad infinite blue sky.

Suddenly the sound of the crackling fire erupted. The smell of cooking bread woke her up from her gaze.

SEZIM,- "feeling" in kazakh represents this particular moment.

KEY ELEMENTS

FELTING

Felting is an age-old craft. In fact, felt is the oldest known textile manipulation.

Possibly developed in the Middle or Far East

Felting is a process that has evolved with local traditions wherever it was used.

Felt caps from the Early Bronze Age are on display at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen

As in ancient times, felting is still used today to produce yurts

COMMERCIAL LINE

Untitled_Artwork%2016_edited.jpg

Commercial Line of SEZIM collection will have more simple elements in Design. The main idea behind the commercial line is to provide customers reasonably priced products by reducing the cost.

For instance, instead of felting fabrics, it can be dyed. Hence, it will reduce  processing timeframe. Another good example, some of the lining finishings can be replaced by overlock or bias, which in turn will save fabric.
